This walkthrough takes you from a funded wallet to holding pool shares. Read how the pool works first if you have not.
Connect and fund a wallet
Open app.isometric.fi and choose Connect. You need USDG to deposit and a little ETH for network fees, both on the network the pool runs on. The trading quickstart lists the ways to get USDG.
Open the pool
Go to Earn and pick the market's pool. The pool page shows its total deposits, how much of it is backing open trades, the share price, and the 30d APY once the pool has a week of history.
Request a deposit
Press Deposit and enter an amount in You deposit. Check two times on the ticket:
Fills at, the hourly fill your request joins.
Cancel until, the last moment you can change your mind.
Press Request deposit. Your wallet sends two transactions: an approval for the USDG, then the request. The USDG leaves your wallet and waits in the pool. It earns and loses nothing until the fill.
Wait for the hourly fill
A request sent at least 10 minutes before the hour fills at that hour. A later one fills at the next. The pool page counts down to your fill. Deposits always fill in full.
Claim your shares
After the fill your shares appear under Ready to claim. Press Claim to move them to your wallet. From then on your balance moves with the share price.
Getting your money back
Press Withdraw, enter an amount or press Max, and press Request withdrawal. It fills at an hourly fill like a deposit, and you claim the USDG afterwards.
A withdrawal is paid from the part of the pool that is not locked against open trades. It normally fills in full. If many depositors leave at once it can fill in part, and the rest of your shares come back for you to request again. Deposits and withdrawals covers every case.
Before you deposit
Read Pool risks. Winning traders are paid from the pool, and your balance can fall.
Only deposit money you can leave alone for a while. Exits are hourly, and money locked against open trades frees as those trades settle, up to 32 days out.
